Edmond, Oklahoma - Westminster Pipe Band of Oklahoma will wear the Spirit of Scotland tartan for the band's kilts.
The Spirit of Scotland tartan was designed by Michael King of Philip King Tailoring Ltd, Aberdeen, Scotland, and the tartan was adopted by the National Trust for Scotland for Fyvie Castle in Aberdeenshire.
The Westminster Pipe Band recently re-formed after a 13 year hiatus, and the current band is comprised primarily of musicians from the central corridor of the United States including, but not limited to, Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, and Missouri.
The Westminster Pipe Band is an all-volunteer organization.
