Westminster Pipe Band Set To Compete In Chicago

Edmond, Oklahoma – The Westminster Pipe Band of Oklahoma will compete in the Grade 3 Midwest Pipe Band Championship at the Chicago Scottish Festival and Highland Games on June 14, 2025. The event will take place at the DuPage County Fairgrounds, Wheaton, Illinois, under the official sanction of the Midwest Pipe Band Association.

The band will perform both a March, Strathspey, and Reel (MSR) set and a medley set. The day-long festival and games will conclude with a massed band performance featuring all the participating bands, promising a memorable celebration of Scottish music and culture.

Westminster Pipe Band seeks to achieve the highest levels of musical performance while presenting a fun but personally challenging environment. Current members are from the central corridor of the United States, including, but not limited to, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska, and Texas.

Westminster Pipe Band is an all-volunteer organization, and is always open to having talented musicians join our ranks.
